Samsung Galaxy S7 Active Launched With 4GB RAM
We always have desired to have a sturdy phone perhaps meeting the industrial-strength standards. Finally, Samsung has launched one such phone in USA, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. It will be available online or via AT&T stores on
June 10. It has been priced around $749.99.
The phone has been approved for its rugged design by the US Military Standard (MIL-STD) 810G. The phone is dust and waterproof having the IP68 ratings allowing immersion underwater up to 5 feet and for about 30 mins. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active has an additional protective polycarbonate layer on top of the screen which gives it the strength to resists drops of five feet on a flat surface.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active features a 5.1-inch quad HD capacitive touchscreen, with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU, which is supported with 4 GB RAM. The device has 32 GB internal memory and can be expanded via micro sd card slot up to 200GB. It runs on an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. It’s very handy in size at 148.8 x 75 x 9.9 mm and it weighs 185grams.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is available in Cammo Green, Titanium Gray and Sandy Gold colours. It’s a first Active Galaxy Phone to have a fingerprint scanner capabilities. It is supported with a 4000 mAh Battery.
The handset offers WiFi, Bluetooth, micro USB, GPS, NFC and 4G connectivity. It sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera.
