Baidu Launches New Advertisement Platform In India
In a bid to increase revenue for its mobile developers Baidu on Thursday announced the launch of its international mobile advertisement platform DU+ Plan in India. The new developments promise to generate 100% revenue from mobile advertising campaigns developers carry out on Baidu DU Ad platform.
Speaking on the occasion Baidu India General Manager Tim Yang said “The growth of mobile advertising in India is astounding. With the DU+ Plan, developers will be able to experience first-hand how they can capitalise on that growth through our ad platform,”.
Through this venture, it aims to help app developers grow their business and in doing so bolster the growth of mobile ecosystems in the emerging markets worldwide.
The Company spokesperson further went on to state that India is a fast growing digital advertising market, especially with smartphones predicted to grow to 651 million by 2019.
It already has an Android marketplace-Mobomarket in place which can help Baidu’s Du Ad platform offer smart targeted advertisements to advertisers with effective monetization solutions.
