Reliace Jio FTTH Services To Launch Soon
After setting the telecom industry on fire with its amazing offers and registering a large number of subscribers Reliance Jio is all set to rock the Fiber To The Home (FTTH) services segment in India. Yes, Reliance Jio is ready to launch its FTTH services soon. Speaking to Teleanalysis website Reliance Jio spokesperson confirmed the FTTH services arriving by June and has plans to launch it by the end of this financial year end.
The Reliance FTTH services trails are expected to start in few cities followed by a commercial offering. The FTTH service will offer users a minimum data speed of 100Mbps.
Reliance Jio spokesperson further said – “We are doing some trials in various cities and most trials are successful and ready for commercial roll out. Our plans start from 100Mbps and it will be the most affordable home broadband service that Indian consumers will ever get,”
There was a hint to the fact that the tariffs of the will also be nominal and the user would not mind paying it.
It was revealed that Reliance FTTH will also bring other services like the Smart Calling Feature. This service involves connecting all phones in a home connected virtually. This means that a user gets a call on his landline he can receive it on his mobile phone or vice versa.
Along with this, it will also come with a package of services like security, automation and surveillance solutions for users. This will enable users to control smart devices in their homes with the touch of a button on their smartphones. These efforts will be a step towards the IoT arena by Reliance Jio.
Already having a subscriber base of around 108.9 million and around 72 million users opting for the company’s Prime Membership is keeping the dream of Digital India alive.
