Vodafone Offers 3G/4G Data with Unlimited Voice Calling


To keep up with the competition from Reliance Jio free offer for its users, Vodafone has come up some exciting offers for its subscribers. Today Vodafone India launched combo pack ‘Vodafone Red’ which comes with 3G/4G data and unlimited local and STD voice calls across all networks for postpaid subscribers at Rs 499.

Vodafone has come up with plans offering 3 GB data for 4G users, 1GB non-4G data, 100 text messages with unlimited local and STD calls along with free incoming on national roaming for Rs 499 in a bid to acquire 200 million customers. Apart from this, it is offering 5GB non-4G data and 8GB 4G data with free calling and 100 free text messages and free incoming national roaming for Rs 999.

User with higher data requirements are also taken care of by Rs 1299 plan which offers free outgoing on national roaming with 3G/4G data and unlimited voice calling. This offer will provide 20GB non-4G data and 24GB data for 4G along with unlimited voice calling, free outgoing on national roaming.

Charges for the data exceeding the data plan will be charged at 50 paise/MB. All the above-mentioned plans are not applicable in Madhya Pradesh & Chattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh &Telangana, Bihar & Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh circles.

Sandeep Kataria, Chief Commercial Officer, Vodafone India, said in a statement “Postpaid customers have higher usage of data and roaming. With the new Vodafone RED, our postpaid customers can enjoy an all-in-one plan that addresses their data, roaming and calling needs comprehensively,”

With Reliance Jio coming up with free offers the telecom companies are operating amidst cut-throat competition. The offers bring relief to the customers who will be able to avail telco services offered to them bundled with voice and data.
