Whatsapp End to End Encryption
Secure and private communications are becoming a priority these days. Whatsapp has always had privacy and security in their DNA. In a move forward Whatsapp has come up with a full end to end encryption in the latest version of Whatsapp.
Whatsapp users will now have a full end to end encryption as long as they are using the latest version of Whatsapp. It means that every call you make, and every message, photo, video, file, and voice message you send, is end-to-end encrypted by default, including group chats.
Security is inbuilt by default when using Whatsapp, unlike many other messaging apps which only encrypt messages between you and them. The end to end encryption in Whatsapp ensures that the person you’re communicating with only can read what is sent and nobody in between not even Whatsapp. All this is possible because every message is secured with a lock, and only the recipient and you have the special key needed to unlock and read them. Apart from this, every message has its own unique lock and key.
Everything is present and users don’t need to worry about setting things up. Just make sure you have the latest version of Whatsapp and you are good to go.
The details of the conversation or chat are no longer stored on Whatsapp servers. They all are right there on the user’s phones all the time. One does not need to worry while making calls from abroad as all calls too are encrypted and one need not worry about someone hearing them not even Whatsapp. To make sure you are encrypted end to end simply go to the contact info or group info and look for indicator where it says Encryption if the sign shows its locked means you are encrypted.
